Was it wrong? And I said “Listen oh I know its been a long long year. You told me everything that you wanted to be. Walked in straight away and slammed the door last night. Don’t want to wait another hour I want all of it. Want want on it on it and if you got another hour I want all of it. Want want what you want want then you want it. Might die if you can’t live just to taste it. If you understand that a few years won’t erase it. Can’t hide what you desire once you’re on it. If you want want what you want want then you want it. And I keep running away but when I leave you pull me in again. Oh, can we take this slow? Everybody’s always known, but I didn’t want to admit that when we’re cheek to cheek I feel it in my teeth and it’s too good to resist. Want want what you want want then you want it and I want you. Can’t fake what you can’t break up with ooh. I hold my breath and count the times I walked my feet up to the line. And I keep running away, but when I leave you pull me in again. Try to forget the rest as I watch you get undressed. You’re better than the man I knew when we were in a band and you wouldn’t flinch and wouldn’t make a move. When we’re together it feels like heaven. Who were you then? And who is she now? Did she know that we were together somehow? You never touched me, but I felt you everywhere. I couldn’t relate to her glitter and furs. Now when I wait in your doorway covered in flowers, I think of her. You kept me waiting and I hated you then. I told you I loved you when we were just friends. Wish we could do this forever and never remember mistakes that we made. Instead of presentational modes like exhibitions and festivals, the Feral Labs Network is focused on connecting and organising a series of camps and similar kinds of temporary creative environments, all with a strong emphasis on process-based activities like peer learning, field work, research and co-creation. The Feral Labs Network is a network of six partners from six EU countries, who joined in their common interest in art-science research and contemporary do-it-yourself (DIY) & do-it-with-others (DIWO) communities. The past two years the Feral Labs Network have created a variety of temporary creative hubs that have varied in scope, format and topics covered, but have had a joint methodological starting point: temporary, international, remote, open and transdisciplinary (art-technology-science). We would like to invite you to “The Future Get-Away” a workshop and book launch where we invite you to participate in the discussion of how the future of joint development can be re-developed. How will we work together in the future? What does it take to transcend the borders of art, technology and science and create something truly transdisciplinary? How is something truly novel developed? How can we continue the development of open formats? How can we develop peer learning and teaching? Launch of the Feral Labs project publication, workshop & discussion The final public event within the program of the project Feral Labs – a network of temporary dislocated hubs for research in art, technology and communities (2018 – 2021) entitled The Future Get-Away: workshop & publication launch is set to take place on Wednesday, 7th April 2021, 19:00-21:00 CET via Zoom platform.
